MOTAN LIMITED & COLORTRONIC (UK) LIMITED – ONE COMPANY
Motan Limited and Colortronic (UK) Limited will merge all their resources and expertise as of 1st July 2010, under a new banner of Motan-Colortronic Limited and will be located at Chesterfield on the existing Colortronic 2 acre site. The existing Motan site located in Abingdon will continue to operate as normal for the time-being.
The management team will be headed by Karl Miller as Managing Director and the transfer will be in stages to ensure existing customers are supported in the best possible manner.
Merging the two companies has long been a consideration and is being carried out within the framework of a long-term business strategy. The products they offer to the plastics compounding and plastics processing industries are complementary. By combining their portfolios a synergy will be created and will enhance the ability to create end to end solutions spanning multiple market segments, for example, injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, compounding and other in-line processes.

The expanded product portfolio, sales and service networks means we are even closer to our customers, enabling us to offer the best expertise in system engineering and customer support in the market.
The Chesterfield Technical Centre where customers are able to view the full range of equipment and witness trials and testing with their particular materials will be enhanced to allow for the new combined product range.
