Dosing & Blending Overview
In 1971 Colortronic introduced the first dosing and blending unit with accurate dosing ability due to volumetric counting of dosing components and with a continuously operating mixer aimed at the plastics industry.
The range of equipment available from Colortronic today is the outcome of many years of experience. Well tried and tested equipment is carefully developed further and is then upgraded to form new models.
The basic idea behind Colortronic has remained the same; accuracy, reliability and safety were the prime considerations. At Colortronic we know that the economic viability of the processing machine is dependent on the accuracy and reliability of the dosing and blending unit which supplies it. In other words, the best and most expensive injection moulding, blow moulding, or extruder is only as reliable as the dosing and blending unit mounted on it.
Volumetric, Gravimetric Batch Blending or Continuous Loss-in-weight blenders are available to suit your specific applications and requirements.
The fact that Colortronic units are economic and therefore achieve a rapid return on investment is confirmed by the many thousand plastics processors who have chosen Colortronic as their partner.
All the systems are geared towards future devleopments, and they have been designed to facilitate simple exchange or extension of dosing stations to dose and homogenously mix granule, regrind, powder or liquid components.
