Designed for extrusion and co-extrusion applications with up to 8 extruders. The extruder throughput is gravimetrically monitored or controlled by means of a loadcell. The Smarthopper achieves an accuracy of up to +/- 0.5% related to the material flow through the weigh hopper.

The material flow is constantly measured by a strain gauge load cell in real time using a loss in weight principle based on an adjustable time base.

Rugged, modular construction

Parts coming in contact with material are made of stainless steel.

Smarthopper can be easily integrated with other products in the Colortronic range.

Host connection via several protocols enables transfer of all important operating parameters.
