Application
Especially for applications in the plastic industry the inline magnet SAFEMAG has been developed. The unit can be operated as an add-on version in combination with a metal separator PROTECTOR or as a stand-alone solution. Various plastic granules with grain sizes up to 8mm and temperatures up to 100°C in slow flowing gravity fed lines can be cleaned. A very low but robust design combined with using high energy rare earth magnet material are the shining talents of this magnetic separator. As well as the magnetic separator EXTRACTOR the SAFEMAG does not offer sanctuary to the plastic granules to be separated because of the special construction of the housing (important when colour of material should be changed).
Performance Characteristics
The magnetic separator SAFEMAG is equipped with three rod magnets which are manufactured by using a high energy rare earth magnet material. The arrangement in a triangle matrix ensures a best possible contact between the plastic granules and the magnet. The easy functionality and cleaning round off the positive general view of this Magnetic separator. With a magnetic flux of 7000 gauss even finest ferrous particles will be attracted and even separated; and therefore cost intensive repair and line shutdown are reduced.
The SAFEMAG pipe magnet is ideal as an optional add-on for the PROTECTOR metal separator.
