Herbold - SMR Series
The SMR series comprises machines for the granulation of large pipes made of PP, PE, PVC and other materials. Heavy-duty granulators with rotor diameters from 320 to 1600 mm (12 to 62 inches) and 15 to 300 kW (20 to 400 HP) motors, with horizontal feed troughs. The feed trough gets filled with the pipes to be granulated and then closed hydraulically. A pushing device will automatically feed the load to the rotor. The pusher is operated in accordance with the power consumption of the main motor to assure an optimum load.
